Youth Without Limits LIVE: Glasgow

What to expect?

This interactive event will help you realise there are no limits to what you can achieve in the workplace.

On the day you’ll hear what leading employers are looking for when they are hiring, be inspired by young people who are blazing a trail in their own careers, and meet with employers and youth-focussed organisations to find out about the range of career paths across different industries available to you.

There will also be a range of workshops throughout the day covering topics including:

• How to secure work experience
• Routes to employment
• Hints and tips for applying for jobs
• Project management techniques
• Understanding entrepreneurship
• Personal branding

What’s included?

Attendance at the event is free of charge. Lunch and refreshments throughout the day will be provided, as well as all materials required for full participation in the event. Attendees will need to cover their own travel to and from the event.

Who can attend?

The event is fully accessible and open to current DofE participants and Award holders aged 16 – 19. The day has been designed with young people who have recently left school, in further education, or just starting out in the world of work, in mind.

For Licensed Organisations:

Licensed Organisations are invited to register their interest to bring groups of young people to the event. At least one adult from the Licensed Organisation must be in attendance with them.

Register your interest using the form and we’ll be in touch within two weeks to let you know if you have spaces at the event. You don’t need to provide names of the young people at this stage, we will contact you in September with the full programme for the day and to request names, dietary requirements and accessibility needs of those attending. 

For Individuals:

If you would like to attend the event independently, you can register your interest using the form and we’ll be in touch from 2 September to let you know if you have secured a place.
