The DofE is a well-loved, trusted and recognised brand. We provide businesses with the chance to connect with thousands of young people, sharing your mission and highlighting career opportunities within your industry. Partnering with the DofE allows businesses to enhance their social impact, boost relevance and engage with a dedicated audience of 14-24-year-olds.

  • Parents and carers tell us that the cost-of-living crisis means half of parents are cutting back on extracurricular activities for their children
  • Our Youth Voices 2024 research clearly demonstrates young people are concerned about mental health, the cost of living and their future careers and employment.

The DofE is determined to reach marginalised young people, and you can support us in our mission. Read about the ways your business can get involved below.

Taster Days

Our interactive Taster Days offer companies the opportunity to invite young people into their workplace to get an insight into the variety of jobs, early careers and work experience opportunities available to them. Up to 60 young people will take part in a team activity to understand how valuable and vital the skills and behaviours developed through their DofE are for employers. Companies also get a valuable opportunity to listen to young people about the challenges they are facing in securing a job and developing their career.

Killik & Co.

We worked with Killik & Co. to deliver a Taster Day to introduce young Londoners from marginalised backgrounds to the wide range of careers available within the finance sector and equip them with the skills they need to make their first steps into the world of work. We worked with the team at Killik to develop a bespoke day with a range of activities from Q&A sessions to CV skills workshops.

Young people found the day incredibly valuable, with 87% rating the day as excellent, and all attendees reporting they were now more interested in pursuing a career in the financial sector.

The Taster Day we delivered provided a brilliant opportunity to engage directly with young people from the local area who wanted to learn more about careers in financial services. Hosted at our head office, attendees were highly engaged, giving our staff a valuable opportunity to develop their presenting skills for a young audience.

This is Youth

Every DofE journey is unique – and every young person makes a difference. This is Youth recognises and celebrates the amazing stories behind The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, showcasing young people and the adults who support them doing what they do best; rising above today’s challenges and making their mark on the world, their way. As a category sponsor, your company can be at the forefront of celebrating young people.

We’re incredibly proud to be part of This Is Youth for the second consecutive year, sponsoring the Community Impact: Changemaker of the Year category. Community investment is a key part of the BA Better World sustainability programme, and supporting This is Youth provides a wonderful opportunity to commend those unsung heroes who make such a difference in their local area.
