What advice would you give to someone starting out their career?
Research all of the different pathways available, whether that’s university, an apprenticeship or a combination of both with a degree apprenticeship, and find out which option feels like the best fit for you.

Flying Start degree programmes
Our Flying Start degree programmes offer you the opportunity to start a career and gain a degree at the same time.
Join us in Accounting or Business Management, where you can earn a salary and fast-track your career while studying for your chosen subject. Whichever programme you choose, you’ll work on a range of projects in a culture that embraces difference and encourages you to think imaginatively. School and College Leaver opportunities
All of our full-time School and College Leaver programmes are designed to help you develop your business skills through real client work, while also completing formal training and studying towards qualifications to give you a head start in your career. PwC will provide you with support all the way. You’ll earn a competitive salary, benefit from excellent support networks and have the opportunity to continually progress your career. Just like our graduate joiners, you’ll work on varied and challenging client and internal projects, which make a real difference to the world of business.
Virtual Insight Programme
Our Virtual Insight Programme provides opportunities to gain lots of valuable skills and explore your career options with PwC. You may be interested in doing an apprenticeship, going to university, or a combination of both. Perhaps you’re still not sure, and you simply want to find out more about PwC and the different areas that you could join. Our Virtual Insight Programme will help you answer these questions by giving you a glimpse into our different business areas, and you’ll also hear from our people who joined through a range of pathways and programmes.
On the 3-day Virtual Insight Programme, you’ll experience our different business areas through interactive sessions and innovative technology. You’ll hear directly from our people, including current and past students of our School and College Leaver programmes. You’ll discover what they do at PwC and have the opportunity to try out typical tasks from some of our business areas. You can also take part in a variety of skills sessions to equip you with the tools and knowledge to help you succeed with a future application to PwC and beyond.
