Hi-Tec prize draw – Terms and Conditions:

  1. The DofE offer a prize draw for two chances to win a pair of Hi-Tec Jackdaw Walking Boots.
  2. The closing date for the prize draw is Midnight, Sunday 2 March 2025. All entries must be received by the published closing date. Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted.
  3. Entries into the prize draw are made by entering your name and email address via the survey web page.
  4. This prize draw is open to all DofE adults and DofE participants, as well as staff and parents within the school or centre.
  5. This free prize draw is not open to those who are employed by The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award or Hi-Tec. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and no correspondence will be entered.
  6. One entry per person only, multiple entries are not permitted.
  7. The winners of the prize draw will be drawn at random at the DofE Head Office from all valid entries received by the closing date. Winners will be drawn within ten working days of the closing date.
  8. The winner will be notified by email.  All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winner but, in the event, that they cannot be contacted within ten working days a replacement winner will be drawn. After this time, the first winner drawn will have no claim on the prize.
  9. The winner agrees to their name, DofE role/level, and DofE region/country being used in DofE marketing and publicity. The name, DofE role/level and DofE region/country of the winner may be disclosed to anyone who emails the DofE within one month after the published closing date.
  10. The prize is subject to availability and to any published restrictions.  The prize will not be awarded as a result of improper actions by or on behalf of prize draw entrants, illegal or otherwise.
  11. All prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
  12. Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the DofE and accordingly the DofE may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
  13. English law applies and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts shall prevail.  The promoters are The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, 9 Greyfriars Road, Reading, Berkshire, England, RG1 1NU.
