We offer action-packed, outdoor activity Gold Residential programmes at Thames Young Mariners.
Our SUPing, Canoeing and Kayaking residential lets you try out different outdoor activities while our experienced staff help you step beyond your comfort zone. You will learn new skills and make new friends en-route to completing your Gold award.
The courses are five days long in total which fulfil the requirements of the residential section of the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. You will have the opportunity to gain your British Canoeing Explorer and Discover award. You will stay in bell tents on our picturesque site beside the River Thames and all food will be provided. Meals are provided in the main hall, a short walk from your tents. Finishing the week with a trip on the Thames with your new group of friends.
