Gold Open combined Practice and Qualifying expeditions in the beautiful Peak District.
These expeditions will consist of a two day Practice followed by four day Qualifier. This is an option for those who consider themselves fairly fit and physically confident about walking in the hills for 6 days.

Practice involves reviewing and improving navigation, teamwork and campcraft skills in the beautiful Hope Valley for the 2 day practice expedition with highly qualified and supportive Instructors. We also look at emergency procedures, ensuring you will be able to cope with any scenario.

Qualifying will see groups heading out onto the Dark Peak, down through Snake Pass and up and across Stanage Edge, before tackling Mam Tor and the Edale skyline for the 4 day expedition with remote supervision in place to ensure safety while allowing independent group travel.
