Brand new for 2025, this week long immersive residential gives you the unique opportunity to work alongside top arts professionals; gain valuable insight into the industry; and develop your own creative skills – all within the breathtaking backdrop of the New Forest.

The week will be delivered by two of the New Forests leading arts organisations: SPUD and Forest Forge Theatre Company.

Participants can choose which art form to engage with, and activities will include:

Developing a range of theatre and drama techniques including creative writing, storytelling and performance.

Exploring skills in visual art and design.

Creating site specific performances that engage with the forest setting.

Learning about the environment through working with natural materials found in the forest to create dens, backdrops and performance spaces.

We will start each day with team games and warm up exercises to get our imaginations fired up for a day of creating and making.

You will be fully supported by the industry professionals and have plenty of opportunities to chat to them about their careers!
