This expedition trains participants in the skills required to undertake their Gold Canoeing Qualifying expedition.

Most of day 1 is spent on the water with one of our qualified coaches, getting to grips with paddling a canoe. Whether a complete novice or a competent paddler, this should be an enjoyable day on the water learning or developing paddling skills. An early arrival at camp allows participants to refresh their campcraft skills, working with the coach to build camp.

Day 2 of the expedition will be spent on the water with the coach, further developing the participants paddling skills, increasing the focus on caring for each other on the water.

All further days will then be classed as a practice expedition where the team will be remotely supervised by their coach.

The cost of this expedition includes all paddling equipment (such as boats, buoyancy aids, paddles, and drybags), group equipment (such as tents, stoves, and first aid kits), campsite fees and supervision throughout the expedition.
