No sailing experience is required for you to jump on board Wales’ Tall Ship, Challenge Wales: join us to complete your DofE Gold Residential on this action-packed voyage around the Welsh coastline and up to Cumbria! An opportunity to explore new places and give you a summer adventure with a difference on board our 72′ racing yacht.

Take the helm – Raise the sails – Make new friends – Take part in dolphin watching – Have lots of fun supported by our amazing crew – Improve teamwork, confidence and communication. Learn new skills above and below deck and make life-long memories. You can also opt to gain a qualification by completing your RYA Competent Crew course to become a valuable crew member. (There is an additional nominal £15 charge for the Competent Crew course).

Please note the voyage fee can often be reduced for those that need it through the Challenge Wales bursary fund. This can provide an automatic reduction of 20% and for those who need more financial support, a further bursary can be available too. Please talk to us if you want to tap into our bursary fund.
