Ahoy there, 16-25 year olds! Looking for adventure on the high seas this summer? No sailing experience is required to jump onboard Wales’ Tall Ship ‘Challenge Wales’ for your DofE Gold Residential.

Sail across the Irish Sea from Dublin to Penarth, S. Wales – gaze at amazing sunrises/sunsets, incredible night skies. Make new friends – Take part in dolphin watching – Learn new skills – Improve your teamwork, confidence and communication – make memories to last a lifetime – And have lots of fun!
You will be involved in all aspects on board – hoisting and lowering sails, steering at the helm, helping to cook interesting meals in the galley for everyone. Your action-packed time onboard will be supported by our friendly and experienced crew, and you can opt to complete your RYA Competent Crew course as well (there is an additional nominal £15 charge for this).

Please note the fee can often be reduced for those that need it through the Challenge Wales bursary fund. This can provide an automatic reduction of 20% and for those who need financial support a further bursary can be applied for.
