Join the crew onboard Wales’ Tall Ship, 72-foot Challenge Wales for an adventurous 10 day voyage in conjunction with other boats as part of a Small Ships Youth Race. Starting in Plymouth (England), sailing to Guernsey and finishing in Poole (England), no sailing experience is required to take part.

Voyage is open to anyone aged 16 – 25 years and ideal for those wishing to complete their Gold Duke Of Edinburgh Residential. This open access voyage will help you learn sailing skills, develop your leadership and teamwork skills, make new friends and will be fun. No sailing experience required but you will be getting to experience everything about life onboard, from steering, sail hoisting, learning about sustainability and cooking!

Full price is £950 with a guaranteed bursary available to bring the cost to £475. Further bursaries may also be available to reduce cost to £150, if eligible. You can also ‘Pay what you can afford’ and if you don’t require the full bursary you can pay what you can between the lower cost with bursary and the full amount!
