Because It’s There Adventures – Stride into expedition leadership residential – Buckinghamshire – July 2024

This unique opportunity combines Lowland Leader Award training, Camping Leader Award assessment and a fully trained and assessed outdoor first aid qualification plus completion of the Duke of Edinburgh’s (DofE) Gold Award residential project.

Any component course of this residential may be also booked separately (LLA training – £155, OFA – £140 & CLA – £105: see links below) This will also provide an opportunity for DofE residential candidates to welcome new people and manage the dynamics of a changing group.

Sleeping accommodation is in tents (your own or provided) supplemented by indoor catering facilities, a training room and toilets. Please bring your own outdoor clothing and equipment as most of the training and assessments will be done outdoors.

The programme is fully residential, and catering is included in the residential course fee.  We can pick you up and drop you off from the nearest tube station.

The only additional costs (apart from travel expenses) are enrolment fees payable to Mountain Training:
