Canoes are an amazing way to travel: exploring rivers, lochs, coastlines, and islands. Why not try a canoe expedition for your Gold? The practice expedition will take place on Loch Tay and the river Tay in Highland Perthshire, Scotland. We will start at the western end of this big loch, near the town of Killin. Day one will involve lots of skills training in the river and loch. After that, on days 2, 3, and 4, we’ll go on a journey, east along the length of the loch and the river Tay, practicing skills and developing your independence as a paddling team.

We provide a canoe, buoyancy aid, paddle, helmet, barrel, and a dry bag rucksack for your kit. We also provide tents, gas and a stove. Minibus transport to and from the expedition venue from the central belt of Scotland is included too.
