We are a disability access and inclusive expedition specialist.
Access Lake Windermere at the Southmost point and canoe the longest lake in England, it will take two days with a campover at our private wild camp venue. On the third day board our micro yacht to begin the long climb back upwind to the wild camp spot. Finish your circumnavigation of Lake Windermere on the new multiuser West Windermere way to the South end and celebrations.
By blending the modes of travel, we reduce the strain on the body and utilise the best and most accessible transport modes available.
Features: wheelchair-accessible paths, accessible campsite toilets, supportive seating, capacity for assistance dogs, raised beds, low dexterity cooking arrangements, a powered support boat, audio-assisted navigation, pop-up anywhere toileting (with rails) and capacity for support staff.
Participants do not need to live with a disability to join in – in fact, we encourage non-disabled participants to come along: a mixed group is fun for all. If an inclusive and accepting environment and mixed modes of transport appeal – sign up!
We are adventurers ourselves and passionate to share the potential for all people to experience true adventure.
