Expedition takes place on 7-9th of April 2025.
The expedition begins in the small village of Grandtully in Strathtay. From there the route goes west to Aberfeldy then south up a pretty wooded valley called the Birks o’Aberfeldy. Beyond that the route turns south west to a wild camp by the Urlar Burn. On day two the route goes south west to a minor road, then south east to Glen Quaich then south west to another wild camp by Lochan a’Mhuilinn. Day three goes south west to Glen Almond then south east to the main road (A822) by the Sma’ Glen. There is about 12-17km of walking each day, on a mixture of minor roads, cycleways, tracks and paths.
Training on navigation skills, campcraft, route planning and team work will be provided by instructors.
Minibus transport to and from the expedition start and finish points will be available from Glasgow, Stirling and Perth.
