The Royal Air Force Air Cadets ATC is one of my greatest Blessings in life and will always be a part of me..

I started my Gold award projects, residentials and expeditions back in Oct '10 but put it on hiatus so close to finishing it when I'd timed out as an air cadet.
However - long story short - it all pulled through with the help of my former cadet camp mates, staff and officers.. I managed to get it completed and submitted!

Just before my birthday on the 22nd May 2019, along with my then husband-to-be (who also took part in the Silver award himself), I finally received my Gold DofE award at Buckingham Palace Gardens in the presence of HRH, The Earl of Wessex, Prince Edward.

My heart truly breaks for Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family at this time, but I pray that they continue to stay strong. May God Bless them.
RIP Sir, you lived a good and fulfilling life of service, we miss you terribly and may your legacy live on... God save the Queen.
