I remember at 18 years old applying for college and jobs. The one thing they all wanted to hear about was my Duke of Edinburgh experiences. I could speak to them so easily. They made me into the leader I am today. I was always a very shy child. Now I am an assistant clinical manager of an ICU plus a professor at a college. All thanks to my participation in the Duke of Edinburgh awards
