Thomas Mason

I completed my Bronze DofE in 2019. I have KBG syndrome which means amongst many other problems, I struggle with physical activities due to poor motor skills, weak muscles and lymphedema. I didn't think I would be able to do the expedition but amazingly I did, even in terrible rain!!. I am hoping to complete my silver expedition very soon. Thanks to the skills element I can now even play a tune on my guitar. My volunteering as a young leader in scouts has made a huge difference for me, especially with my confidence, I am now part of the District Youth Team and have been running all the activities on zoom for Explorers all the way through lockdown. I hope to carry on all the way to Gold. Thank you DofE!
