In summer 2020, our team went on an Open Gold canoeing expedition, spanning over 100km from Whitney-on-Wye to Monmouth for the Qualifying section. Combined with the practice expedition, I learnt a new skill in rowing and was able to get along with people I hadn't met before. From DofE, I realised the importance of experiencing and living for yourself, not just for others.
