I achieved the Gold Award in my last year of school, and was fortunate enough to be able to visit Buckingham Palace and walk around the gardens when collecting my award- it was beautiful! There were so many times when I was doing my DofE where it was difficult, but with great determination, I kept striving forward, and I'm so glad I did!

It is such a great award, and I've made so many memories from it. I am proud to be a Gold Award holder, and I am thankful for the Duke of Edinburgh for founding the award.
