As part of my bronze award volunteering section, i bake a dessert for 50 homeless people and donate it to a nearby shelter for them to enjoy as they don’t get these kind of luxuries very often. I recently received feedback from them, thanking me for my baking which made me realise how hard their life is on the street and how me contributing just an hour of my time every week, can brighten their lives. The award has made me see how tough getting by in life is the the less fortunate and i would like to continue donating my time and skills in the kitchen past my bronze silver and gold awards.
