Hiking and camping expeditions were so much fun, learnt many basic skills for enjoying the outdoors put to good use over the years. Did most of Gold but never got the signatures back in the day! However still have the best memories of 5 days in the Cairngorms, learnt BSL which has been handy with one of my children being born with a hearing loss. All of it was also hugely helpful for that 'chat' in job interviews. Never really appreciated the teachers supporting us until I became a parent of a teenager ?. Eldest now almost finished Bronze and is onto Silver. So proud.
