It all started a very long time ago.! 1966 saw me attain my Bronze Award, followed by my Silver Award in 1967. One of the greatest schemes I have ever participated in. The skills and experience gained have helped me throughout my life. They instilled in me a huge love of the outdoors, made me thankful of the love of my family and made me respectful of others around me. I made great friends at the time. I'm so proud that my son also gained his Gold Award when he was at school. I still have my Log Book and badges, cherished over all these years. Something I will never forget doing.
