I completed my gold DOfE after I’d left school and started work. My boyfriend (now husband) and I did it together, we ran a youth club and learned to windsurf together We’re both involved with scouting and guides. So proud to have completed the award and met HRH at Holyrood. A real gentleman who inspired us both. Both our children have now completed their gold award as well
