I did my Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards finishing in the early 1980s. I have great memories of all the sections but especially enjoyed the expeditions and I went on to do "post-gold" expeditions to the Soviet Union, Peru and China. Most memorable though was meeting my future wife through the Award and going on to have 2 daughters who are now both close to completing their Gold Awards!
