I Received my Gold Award on 4th February 1969 at Buckingham Palace - 3 hours after seeing Harold Wilson greet Commander Borman of Apollo 8, Lunar flight fame in Downing Street.

I also met Prince Phillip at Unilever, Port Sunlight, some time afterwards, as part of a Reception for Award holders.

2 of my children also received Gold Awards and another achieved a Bronze Award.
