I completed Bronze, Silver and Gold DOFE Award whilst at school. Gold was definitely my favourite, we went to Snowdonia for our Gold practice expedition and the Lake District for our assessed expedition. We had an amazing team who all worked collectively to complete the challenges faced, such as an incredibly large bog and a cow and calf blocking our path. My volunteering was being a young leader at a local brownie pack which I thoroughly enjoyed and have continued after completing the award and as a result of my volunteering I am now a qualified brownie leader at a pack whilst at university. It was also incredible being able to attend Buckingham Palace to collect my award.
