Today, my wife and two children took a pleasant walk along the Thames. As we walked , we followed the Thames foot path. As I explaining to them the difference between a footpath and bridal way, it dawned on me that thinly way I knew this was from the education of my D of E bronze award.

I’m not sure I really appreciated what the award did for me at the age of 16. However the passing of HRH has made me pause and reflect.
