I have such fond memories of D of E . I completed Bronze Silver and Gold. My amazing group of friends who I shared the experience with..... .
I even met my husband, Mike through D of E and we are celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary this year!
I was quite young when I finished the award, only 18!
Mike and I went to St James Palace with his Mum and my Dad. We were fortunate to meet The Duke of Edinburgh. He was such a humble, warm man and we both feel privileged to have shook his hand and be presented our award by him.
