I attended one of the Gold Award Ceremonies at Buckingham Palace and was very moved by the excitement amongst those receiving their awards. The pride in their achievement and confidence in their future was palpable.

It was wonderful to be part of this presentation and to be made aware of how must we must cherish and nurture our young. I am delighted to be a supporter of the DOE which fulfils all these requirements.
