Dofe really bought the best out of me. It was a golden opportunity that boosted my confidence, resilience and made me believe I had no limit. As well as the rewarding social aspect, my experience made me step out of my comfort zone and enjoy the time i had to make a difference to myself and the other people. I had never gone camping before, cooked using a gas can, walked 6 hours around the countryside using just a paper map ( just about 20 miles) and even learnt so many survival skills but DofE made this possible. I now love to volunteer and have become a very adventurous person because of it!
