It was a great joy and pleasure to have met HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh when I was a young teen. Almost our entire class were involved in the Award scheme and we had the privilege of having our award (I believe it was the Bronze) given by the Duke himself at Government House in Bermuda. As members of the Warwick Academy concert band, we also had the privilege of performing for his Royal Highness.
