Although it was a long time ago when I did my DOE award I am very proud to have completed to silver unfortunately I had to leave school so was not able to complete my gold

However the experience has followed me all through my life in work and leisure it taught me many skills tolerance, companionship but most of all to me was pride

It taught me that you can help people with difficulties and the reward returns to you many many times over
So it is with sadness that we say farewell to the Duke

His legacy will continue for as long as people carry on his work unselfishly

RIP to a Duke who gave many people of all nationalities a sense of pride
