Started as a 16yr old kid still tied to Moms apron strings with a trip to Nash Court in Shropshire for a weekend ended up with a 3 day hike over the roof of Wales Then in 1961 a trip to Buck House to meet HRH. Had to get permission for the time off work which I did but without pay! Without doubt one of the best things I have done. Started as a kid ended as an adult with a mind of my own.
