I had the honour of meeting the Duke during my Gold Award Ceremony in March 2016 and spoke to him personally about the volunteering element of my award. He asked what I did for it and I explained that I taught dance to 7 year olds and in classic his classic lighthearted, comical personality he asked if it was pole dancing I taught! Honoured to not only see, but meet and talk to HRH on one of the final Gold DofE ceremonies that he attended.
