Having completed Bronze and Silver, I was determined to get Gold. It was one of the most challenging things I have ever tackled and it is with immense pride I can say I completed each section and expedition with a smile on my face. The DofE is a life-changing experience, without going for Gold I wouldn't have ever met my husband. We happened to be volunteering for the residential section at the same time. Sparks flew and 12 years later we're happily married and I'm a leader and assessor for my local DofE Group :)
