I have achieved my Bronze, Silver and Gold awards and enjoyed every second of them. For my volunteering I helped out at my local Brownie unit I went to myself when I was younger. Helping out with the children showed me how much I enjoyed working with children, and led me to the decision to become a children's nurse. I am currently in the second year of my degree and I don't know if I would of made the decision to persue this career without the experience I had volunteering with children for my DofE. Thank you for the creation of such an amazing award, and all of the amazing experiences which have come out of it!
