I did my Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards while I was at school. The scheme benefitted me so much.

After I received my Gold I didn't want to stop my involvement with the Award so I started helping out in the DofE group back at my old school, then became a supervisor and finally an assessor.

Now I'm a teacher and have lived in various countries before settling in Spain. I honestly don't think I would be here without the confidence, independence and love of teaching I discovered by being involved with DofE.
