I completed my Bronze DofE in the Peak District and it was beautiful scenery. The views from the peaks were amazing. I was worried about joing a group of strangers but we all bonded really well and had the most amazing time. The weather wasn't the best but our spirits were kept high. It was the furthest I had ever walked and we did 4 days of walking which was a challenge because we did the practice and actual expedition in one! I loved the challenge and it has proved I can do anything I put my mind to. We did get temporarily displaced at one point but managed to find our way back. I remember lots of people stopping to ask us if we were doing our DofE and wishing us good luck. This made me feel proud at joining in, in such a great opportunity! I would defiantly encourage others to join in as well because it is a memory which will stay with you forever!
