I enjoyed every bit of my DofE journey and it set the basis for a lifetime of voluntary service, which I still do now. I remember very clearly my day at Buckingham Palace and the way the room lit up with The Dukes entrance and the laughter and interest he brought to the proceedings
He will be sorely missed but leaves behind an incredible legacy
