Having completed all of the DofE awards with my best friends we still look back and laugh wether it be getting stuck in a bog, camping in a lightning storm (not much sleep occurred) or dislocating my ankle and having to hobble along for a bit (not funny at the time, but now makes a great story)!

For my volunteering throughout I volunteered at my local hospital, this encouraged my passion for medicine and has lead me to being a second year medical student. Without DofE I wouldn't have had the relevant experience or confidence in the healthcare setting to gain my place so for that I am eternally grateful.
