Completing my gold Duke of Edinburgh award is one of my proudest achievements. I have such fond memories of the expedition (must be hindsight as I certainly also remember how challenging it was!). I remember unexpectedly coming across a giant pipe in the middle of Snowdonia-a detour wasn’t on the cards so we simply slipped ourselves underneath and carried on! There were so many laughs on that expedition and fond memories. I’m so glad to have had that opportunity and have been wearing my gold award in gratitude to the Duke of Edinburgh. What an incredible legacy. Thank you Prince Philip, RIP.
