Back in 1993, as a 13 year old child, I started my duke of Edinburgh award via the air training cadets ... as part of that award I needed to do some voluntary work. I walked into the vets next door to my home and asked if I could volunteer for a couple of hours a week. A couple of hours turned into every Saturday, that then turned into being a full time veterinary nurse as soon as I left school.
28 years later I manage the same vets!
