My DofE gave me a new appreciation for enjoying new adventures and gave me time to learn skills (like orienteering and music) of which I would ordinarily struggle with. It also enabled me to be excited to participate in such a wonderful experience especially after the stress of exams. All in all my DofE has encouraged me to further develop things I learnt on it as I look forward to going on a expedition holiday and to doing my gold. Without it I wouldn't of found the confidence to belive in some of my own skills and meet new people through my volunteering.
