I have very fond memories of my time taking part in the Duke of Edingbugh Award. The friendships i made, the skills i learned and the sense of adventure, have in various ways stayed with me. I was honoured to meet Prince Philip at St James's Palace in 1992. It was a very special day. I am very proud to have achieved to gold award and would encourage young people take part. When you challenge yourself it can be amazing what you can acheive.
