I’m extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to complete my Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards. Doing my DofE gave me a love for the outdoors that is still with me now and shaped where I chose to take my life. After completing my Gold Award, I quickly became a volunteer leader, assessor and now DofE staff as I wanted to give something back to the award that had benefited me so much. I now feel privileged to honour his work by enabling young people for years to come to have similar opportunities and achieve their DofE Awards.
