Doing DofE was just a brilliant experience. I don’t think there’s much about my DofE journey that I would change - even the amount of blisters that I had on my gold practice expedition. I was lucky enough to complete DofE prior to COVID, this included my Gold Award Presentation, where I was given my certificate by adventurer Phoebe Smith, who was and still is a true inspiration. HRH The Earl of Wessex was also present at the presentation, I will never forget speaking up to him about my DofE experience at the presentation. My memories from doing DofE will stay with me forever!
