Through doing DofE I have grown in confidence, have an increased drive, and have many wonderful memories. The decision to volunteer with The Wave project for my Bronze award years ago pushed me to do something out of my comfort zone and has shaped my career and drive ever since. I am now passionate about working with young people and getting them into sport! It also helped me shape my love for the outdoors and gave me the confidence to travel abroad to work with young people at camp. Soon to complete my gold it will be the end of my personal journey but I hope to help many more people into DofE and lead them along a journey as good as mine.
