I did my bronze and silver awards through the girls brigade. It was hugely fulfilling and gave me a huge sense of pride in myself. I learnt to repair caned furniture and to french polish and still have the little chair in my craft room some 40 years later. And I volunteered with the WRVS and with books for blind for my community service and loved every minute. Thank you so much for the opportunity to do this.
