Duke of Edinburgh for me is one of the greatest things I've taken part in. I started at the bottom and worked to my Gold. I learned so much from every aspect of the award and gained so many valuable memories and friendships. The award has given me an abundance of skills that I will keep and use for the rest of my life. I would encourage every Young Person to take every opportunity when It comes to the Duke of Edinburgh. HRH Prince Philip will be a great loss to the award but I'm more than certain that the award will continue to grow in his memory.
